Another black death at the hands of a law enforcement officer and another pardon. It’s becoming increasingly harder to ignore and the people are taking all kinds of stands all around the United States. Now, Eric Garner joins Michael Brown as murder victims who didn’t receive justice for their deaths.

Many rappers have spoken on the issue and they have come up with various solutions. The main thing to remember is that hip hop was initially created to give voices for situations just like these. Now, rappers have the financial means to do something, but they also have their music to rely on.

Uncle Murda joined forces with Maino and Jay Watts to do just that. They have come together for the single, “Hands Up,” which is dedicated to Michael Brown and Eric Garner. The single is available on iTunes and all the proceeds will go to the respective families of the slain men.
