When it comes to females in hip hop, MC Lyte is someone most ladies aspire to be like, as she came up in the old school. Because of the success of ladies like MC Lyte, it was painful to see the game when there were no female rappers making moves. But, now the game has plenty of ladies who are making moves.
Currently, Iggy Azalea is the most-discussed woman in hip hop. She is everything a modern day female emcee should be, sexy, but she has received plenty of flack from veterans in the industy, for various reasons. While the veterans hate her, Iggy Azalea also receives plenty of love from some veterans and the new generation.
MC Lyte has an opinion the world would love to know more about when it comes to various topics. VladTV recently had her in for an interview and she discussed Iggy Azalea, showing love to her. She said she feels Iggy Azalea is a student of the game and she supports her being in the game.
