The expansion of Cash Money Records seemed to hit another gear when Busta Rhymes joined the label, alongside Mystikal. Just shy of their three year anniversaries with the label, both have left. Cash Money Records expanded to include We The Best Music Group and several other sub-labels, but there are a lot of artists leaving the roster.

Busta Rhymes had plans for an album release, but he didn’t release an album while he was with Cash Money Records. However, Busta Rhymes did drop an album for Google Play in 2012, which was called Year of the Dragon. This album was released for free, but it wasn’t released with YMCMB.

Earlier this week, the Global Spin Awards took place and Busta Rhymes talked to VladTV, answering some pressing questions. Many want to know why Busta Rhymes decided to leave Cash Money Records. He answered this question in full and gave the fans some interesting information.
