Last summer, YG made his mainstream breakthrough with “My Hitta,” featuring Jeezy and also Rich Homie Quan. The song lasted for well over a year, giving YG a lot of momentum when he finally released My Krazy Life. His album also spawned the hit “Who Do You Love?,” featuring Drake.

YG managed to keep himself relevant in the months since his album release through his guest appearances on other projects. In the late summer, Jeremih scored a hit with “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” which YG is featured on, as a guest. He has continued to do guest appearances, but now he is ready to take the spotlight, once again.

Recently, “The Breakfast Club” had YG over at Power 105.1. He was there with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee, as they discussed Blame It On The Streets, YG’s movie/album. Their interview also saw YG speak on DJ Mustard’s choice of outfits, his music chemistry with Jeezy, a new album, and much more.
