Until 2012, Benzino was best-known for tanking The Source Magazine and starting a beef with Eminem for no reason. With those accomplishments under his belt, Benzino was considered an industry joke by most. But, Benzino managed to be shown in a positive light on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.”
After two years on the show and three seasons, Benzino found one of his closest friends playing the role of his worst enemy. Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez have shown no mercy to Benzino and Althea Heart. The fans have sided and even they are at war with each other over this situation.
Last week, it was revealed that Benzino and Althea Heart were fired from “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” Stevie J said it was because of death threats and TMZ elaborated that Benzino threatened his cast mates and the producers. The fans have jumped to Twitter with their reactions and The Source’s editor-in-chief, Kim Osorio, even had her own response.
