This week, the third annual Global Spin Awards took place and many of the biggest names in hip were present. Among those was Busta Rhymes, who is back out in promotion of his artist, O.T. Genasis, one of the game’s brightest newcomers. As he is getting his artist established, Busta Rhymes had to pick the mic back up, himself.
Over the years, Busta Rhymes has gone through several transformations. Early in his career, he was the skinny guy with the dreads, later he cut his hair and bulked up. During the 2006-2009 period, Busta Rhymes was known as one of the buff guys in the game, but last year, his weight gain was definitely noted.
Busta Rhymes took the stage at the Global Spin Awards and one fan caught his performance with their phone. The video is brief, but it shows Busta Rhymes being the hypeman to O.T. Genasis and dancing while he was rapping. While watching the video, it’s hard to not notice Busta Rhymes’ attempt at keeping his balance.
