YG talks DJ Mustard, charity work, and more with Hot 97 [VIDEO]

YG Hot 97By K.B. Tindal
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

While YG has been doing his thing for the past couple of years, it wasn’t until last year that people really took notice. It was then when Def Jam had the idea to pair YG with Young Jeezy and then it wasn’t long before he was added to the CTE roster. Last year, YG had his own success with “My Hitta” and then My Krazy Life early this year.

YG has remained a major presence throughout the year of 2014 and he has a couple of hits to his name. All in all, the year of 2014 was a major success for him, but he is far from done, as he has another project in the works. The next project from YG is Blame It On The Streets, a short film/album due next month.

This morning, YG stopped by Hot 97 and he sat down with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez to discuss his new project. Their conversation centered around DJ Mustard, his tight shirts, and his sets. They also talked about charity work and Blame It On The Streets, among other things.
