In Memphis, 1017 receives a lot of support and Young Dolph is a major reason why. He is closely affiliated with Gucci Mane and the rest of the 1017 camp. This year, Young Dolph had continued success with his mixtapes and he’s also got a spot on Rick Ross’ Memphis-loaded remix of “Elvis Presley Blvd.”

Young Dolph has built a solid reputation on the streets and he has strong relationships with all of the biggest names on the Memphis hip hop scene. With his career set to take off in a major way, Young Dolph seems to be soaking everything in. He has plenty of examples to look at from his own city, namely Juicy J.

Recently, Young Dolph made his return to VladTV and he opened up about his life before the rap game. During these pre-rap years, Young Dolph was a hustler, but he overcame this and got a real shot to make music. Now, he is working with the likes of Juicy J and he discussed this in the interview.
