Without the efforts of DJ Khaled, the Miami hip hop scene, and the South as the whole would look a lot different. He played a big role in helping both Rick Ross and Jeezy reinvent over the years and helped extend Trick Daddy’s relevance. Since 2008, DJ Khaled has had his own label, We The Best Music Group, which is home to Ace Hood.

But, DJ Khaled is currently the buzz of the industry, with his single, “Hold You Down,” dominating radio. The song features Chris Brown, Jeremih, Future, and August Alsina, his first R&B-only single. Recently, DJ Khaled released the remix with Usher, Rick Ross, Fabolous, and Ace Hood.

DJ Khaled made his return to Power 105.1 to talk to Angie Martinez, this week. In their latest interview, DJ Khaled talked about the party he had in The Bahamas. He also talked about the success of “Hold You Down” and the star-studded remix that he recently put together.
