Fall is now in full swing and Rick Ross is in a unique position, the center of attention. He has twice planned to release albums in the fall, 2011 with God Forgives, I Don’t and then last year, with Mastermind. Both albums ended up being released the following year, but this time, Rick Ross decided to give the audience one for the fall.
Rick Ross will release Hood Billionaire in twelve days and the album comes only eight months after Mastermind. This move makes Rick Ross the first major artist since his former label-mate, Plies, to release two albums in the same year. One thing’s for sure, he has a ton of momentum going into the album release.
Funkmaster Flex premiered Rick Ross’ new single, “Movin’ Bass,” featuring Jay-Z last night on Hot 97. Rick Ross was live in the studio for the premiere and he talked to Funkmaster Flex about the release. He spoke on doing another collaboration with Jay-Z and then he talked about working with K. Michelle and her curves.
