The rise of Big K.R.I.T. is one of hip hop’s most-interesting stories, as he overcame the odds to become a rap star. During the summer, Sha Money XL told Hip Hop Vibe about how he united with Big K.R.I.T. and how the deal came together. Four years later, Big K.R.I.T. is working on his second album.
This week, Big K.R.I.T. released Cadillactica, his sophomore album. The new album comes after tons of promotion for the project. There was also a bold claim by Big K.R.I.T. on the album through one of the leaked singles, “King of the South,” where the title pretty much explains itself.
Big K.R.I.T. made a stop by Power 105.1 to talk to “The Breakfast Club” trio. DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God invited Big K.R.I.T. in to discuss Cadillactica, the new album. They also addressed King of the South, both the song and the debate topic that became big several years ago.
