Last year, Kid Ink rose to fame with his single, “Show Me,” featuring Chris Brown. This propelled his momentum into the first part of 2014, when he released My Own Lane, his debut album. During the spring, Kid Ink had even more success with his single, “Main Chick,” also featuring Chris Brown.
Kid Ink had a very good period from October through May, but he’s been out of the spotlight since then. While the people haven’t seen Kid Ink, it doesn’t mean that he hasn’t been making moves. This period saw Kid Ink out in Europe, performing all types of shows and working on his next album.
Recently, Kid Ink talked to HotNewHipHop about what he’s been up to. He discussed his new album, which is due early in 2015. Kid Ink went on to discuss his European tour and his relationship with DJ Mustard, the man behind almost every hit single out this year and even before that.
