Only months after Waka Flocka Flame released Triple F Life, he went to MTV News and revealed Flockaveli 2 was in the works. Many expected Waka Flocka Flame to release his album in 2013, but this wasn’t the case. Instead, Waka Flocka Flame was not very visible, outside of his public beef with Gucci Mane, since resolved.
Waka Flocka Flame, instead, chose to hit the road and he toured overseas for most of the year of 2014. When he returned, Waka Flocka Flame told “The Breakfast Club” he embraced the EDM movement and he was working closely with Steve Aoki. This spring, DJ Louie Styles talked to Steve Aoki for Hip Hop Vibe about this work.
Flockaveli 2 didn’t come when the people expected it to come. This doesn’t mean the album isn’t coming, however. Waka Flocka Flame is working at his own speed and the album is in the works, so to let people know that he hasn’t forgotten about them or this project, he released the cover for it on his Instagram.
