The past few weeks have been highly successful for MC Jin, as he released his long-awaited album, XIV:LIV. His new album has been met with positive reviews and MC Jin is in a good place in life and music. This new album follows MC Jin spending the better part of a decade in China.
Of course, MC Jin rose to fame through his “106 & Park” Freestyle Friday battles. After competing in these battles, MC Jin signed with Ruff Ryders and then he released his debut album to much fanfare. However, things soon fell apart for MC Jin and he found himself on the outside looking in when it came to music.
That was then, but in the here and now, MC Jin is back on top of his world and he spoke exclusively to Hip Hop Vibe about his album. We were there, alongside a few other media outlets. After giving Hip Hop Vibe the exclusive, MC Jin talked to the entire crowd about the new album.
