From the 2004-2006 period, there wasn’t another woman in the game who was bringing the heat the way Remy Ma was. This is not to discredit the other ladies in the game, because she had stiff competition from Trina, Shawnna, and Lil’ Kim, but Remy Ma had it. But, hard times would land her in prison and take her out of the game for close to ten years.

Back in action, Remy Ma has not lost a step, but the game is much different than it was during the 2004-2008 era she left. Upon her return, Remy Ma saw the leaders of the female rap game being Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea. Meanwhile, Lil’ Kim is almost a complete nonfactor in the game, right now.

Remy Ma recently sat down with VladTV’s Jenny Boom Boom and in the latest edition of their interview, she discussed the female rappers. Admitting she hasn’t really made any plans yet, Remy Ma said she is open to working with some other ladies. She also discussed her new mixtape.
