Recent years have given way to hip hop scenes in other areas producing some of the biggest names in hip hop. Major labels have paid attention, so they brought many of these artists to their respective companies. Diddy refocused on Bad Boy Records and added King Los to the label in 2012.

Early this year, however, King Los left Bad Boy Records after his second stint with the famed label. The news disappointed Diddy, but King Los felt it was necessary to leave the label and expand his career. In the time since the spring, King Los has remained rather silent, but this is soon to change.

Recently, Hot 97 hosted King Los, as he was there with Ebro and DJ Kast One. In the interview, he discussed some of his new projects and the Baltimore hip hop. He also discussed Diddy, Kendrick Lamar vs. Lupe Fiasco, his new record deal and a lot more while he was there.
