Two critical moves cemented Rick Ross as a force in the industry and they happened in consecutive years. First, Rick Ross stepped up and beefed with 50 Cent, not giving up or giving into him, like others did. Next, Rick Ross came back out and made good music the fans couldn’t deny.

Established as one of the game’s hottest artists, Rick Ross decided to revisit Maybach Music and expand the roster. Wale, Meek Mill, DJ Scream, and Stalley were added to the roster already including Gunplay, Torch, and Young Breed. Three years later, the label is preparing to release albums from Wale, Gunplay, Stalley, Rick Ross, and DJ Scream.

Rick Ross recently talked to Hip Hop Nation on Sirius XM and he discussed his upcoming album. Early this year, Rick Ross released Mastermind and now Hood Billionaire is coming up. In the interview, Rick Ross discussed why he has never gone platinum and the in-house beefing with Wale, Meek Mill, and Louie V Gutta.
