T.I. arrives in Africa and gets screened for Ebola [PHOTO]

Years ago, T.I. established himself as the king of the South and he put out tons of classic music from the 2003-2008 period. Prison sentences, age, and a change in fan interest has left T.I. without the same star power he once had. Still, T.I. commands enough respect to be one of the game’s top figures.

Currently, T.I. is making his rounds in promotion of his Paperwork album, which is due in a couple of days. This album is T.I.’s first album to be released under his new deal with Columbia Records. Last year, T.I. left Atlantic Records for Columbia Records and the man who signed him, Shawn Holiday, talked to Hip Hop Vibe about the deal.

Promoting the album, T.I. ended up going to Africa and preparing his next stop. But, given all the illness going around, via the Ebola, precautions have to be taken when traveling, especially there. Before T.I. got to mix and mingle in the area, he was stopped and screened for the Ebola virus.
