For those who don’t know, Cap1 has a long history with the Hip Hop Vibe team. Since the beginning, we did promotions together and he and DJ Charlie Hustle have been good friends for years. Oddly enough, both of us ended up joining the Hip Hop Vibe team, meanwhile Cap1 made his place in the rap game.
When 2 Chainz first blew up on a major level, the first thing he did was create an avenue for his team. First in line for this was Cap1, who has since seen his momentum drastically increase. He released the Caviar Dreams 2 project to the biggest fan base he’s seen and it’s still growing.
Hip Hop Vibe’s DJ Charlie Hustle briefly caught up with Cap1 during the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards and he discussed the new project. Now close to a month old, Cap1 gave fans a quick reminder of the mixtape. He discussed the sound of the tape and reminded the people of who is featured on it.
