Watching G-Unit come up in real time was amazing and Sha Money XL talked to Hip Hop Vibe about it a couple of months ago. No other hip hop movement grew as fast or as strongly as G-Unit did. This made their fall from grace that much more significant, as there was a lot said when things fell apart.

Led by 50 Cent, however, G-Unit never could really fail and he decided to reunite the crew during Hot 97’s Summer Jam. Immediately, 50 Cent surprised the game by making peace with Nas and G-Unit’s Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and Young Buck. Longtime G-Unit fans wanted even more from 50 Cent and G-Unit.

Even though he is still on Shade 45, DJ Whoo Kid is still the official DJ for G-Unit and he is an insider with their moves. Recently, DJ Whoo Kid was at Too $hort’s launch party for his new business venture and Hip Hop Wired caught up with him. He talked about G-Unit’s comeback and Game being in talks to return with the crew.
