After the work he put in, French Montana earned the right to be one of the most-discussed figures in the game. Rising the ranks, French Montana is connected to all of the hitmakers in the industry. At one time or another, Diddy, Kanye West, Rick Ross, and Jay-Z all wanted to sign him.
Eventually, French Montana chose Bad Boy Records because he wanted to keep it true to his city. But, French Montana has since gone on to work with a lot of the other people who wanted to sign him. The future is bright for French Montana, as he has his sophomore album in the works.
Announced almost a year ago, French Montana originally meant for Mac & Cheese 4 to be a mixtape. However, after he began to shuffle his release dates, French Montana admitted he had more in store for the project, turning it into an album. This morning, French Montana revealed, via Instagram, the album is coming in December.
