From the beginning of his career, Wale had plans of working with Jerry Seinfeld. Many wondered if he’d ever get the chance to work with the cultural icon and Wale finally made it happen. Now, fans get treated to occasional photos of Wale and Jerry Seinfeld in the studio working on The Album About Nothing.
Wale’s album comes only one calendar year after the release of The Gifted, but he has done plenty of growing. Some of this growth included Wale dropping Roc Nation as his management. The business deal comes in spite of Wale’s immense admiration of Jay-Z as both a businessman and a rapper.
Justin Credible and J Cruz from Power 106 hosted Wale when he was in Los Angeles and they spoke on the new album. Wale gave a brief conversation about his album and fans before explaining how he and Jerry Seinfeld joined forces. He also talked about Jay-Z’s classic album, The Blueprint.
