HHV Exclusive: Chris Brown talks Compton Menace collaboration and “X” with Shorty Mack

Chris Brown HHVEver since 2011, Chris Brown has been on an incredible run, releasing too many hit singles to count. Before 2011, Chris Brown also was a pretty big force in the game, too, but he’s been on fire since then. His collaborations with West Coast artists have been on point, mainly his work with Kid Ink.

Last year, Chris Brown was due to release X, but he decided to push the album back. The album dropped last week and Chris Brown also featured on Compton Menace’s “Put On My Niggaz.” Fortunately, he was in town for this video shoot with Compton Menace, allowing a rare opportunity to Hip Hop Vibe.

Chris Brown talked to Shorty Mack, who ironically has a track with Chris Brown and represents for Hip Hop Vibe. In the first part of Hip Hop Vibe’s exclusive interview with Chris Brown, he talked about working with Compton Menace and doing the music video for “Put On My Niggaz.” He also spoke on X‘s impending success.
