Big Sean shouts out Chris Brown for his “X” album release [VIDEO]

Big Sean 22Because of how well he fits in with the newer generation of emcees, sometimes it can be easy to forget Chris Brown is the veteran in the crew. While Big Sean’s been around since 2007, most didn’t really get to know who he was until 2010. Surely, they know who Big Sean is now and they won’t forget him.

When it is all said and done, Big Sean will receive plenty of attention and credit for his work on the Detroit hip hop scene. Until his success, Eminem and Shady Records were the only natives of Detroit to have mainstream hip hop success. This changed with Big Sean and his movement.

Big Sean made his major mainstream debut alongside Chris Brown with “My Last,” which was one of 2011’s first hit singles. They have since gone on to collaborate on “Till I Die,” also featuring Wiz Khalifa, and many more to come. Yesterday, Chris Brown released X, his long-awaited sixth studio album and Big Sean offered congratulations to him.
