The last person most expected to make headlines in 2013 was Tim Dog, the rapper who rose to fame in the ’90s for his “Fuck Compton” single. But, Tim Dog was in the spotlight due to his death after a battle with illness. Only months after his death, there were rumors of Tim Dog still being alive, thus faking his death.
A warrant was issued for Tim Dog, days later, after people surfaced who had bad business dealings with the New York emcee. The story of Tim Dog and his (non?)death was very bizarre, to say the least. But, there appears to be a resolution to this ongoing story, close to two years after it first broke.
NBC did some research and they caught up with Tim Dog’s closest associates and they were able to find his actual death certificate. Unfortunately, Tim Dog truly did die in February 2013. So, officially, a rest in peace message is due to Tim Dog, real name Tim Blair, who died at the age of 46.
