Finally, ScHoolboy Q released Oxymoron and he’s become one of the biggest names in the game, as he’s been for some time. Breaking into the mainstream for the first time, he has had all kinds of success with the single, “Studio,” with BJ The Chicago Kid. Unlike his label-mate, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q has jumped right back in the studio.

Following good kid, m.A.A.d. city, Kendrick Lamar decided to take time off before releasing his next album. On the other hand, ScHoolboy Q is already making the first steps towards working on his new project. This is something he decided to share when he did his latest interview.

ScHoolboy Q recently stopped by HotNewHipHop and they talked to him about some of the new stuff he has in the works. After a bit of discussion about his gangsta rap background, ScHoolboy Q talked about his next album. He also spoke about the unlikely legion of fans he have that don’t fit his gangsta persona.
