Last year, Yo Gotti saw his dream realized when his mixtape success finally hit the mainstream. Addicted to working, Yo Gotti decided to follow this run up with his next album, once again, in partnership with Epic Records. Before this, Yo Gotti experienced previous success in a partnership with Cash Money Records.
Yo Gotti’s run is impressive, as he dominated the street level and he still does. How he perfected the mixtape game has inspired tons of other rappers to pursue the same path. But, Yo Gotti now has responsibilities on the mainstream level to put content out and make appearances.
Angie Martinez recently welcomed Yo Gotti to her show on Power 105.1. When he popped up there, Yo Gotti talked about his “106 & Park” appearance in Future. He also talked about his past label deal with Cash Money Records, being a part of the Drake vs. Lil Wayne tour, and more.
