Opportunities are everywhere and anyone can capitalize on them. However, very few people actually end up doing so. How many people, in 2002, could have imagined there could have been millions, close to billions, of dollars to be made due to the growing backlash against Ja Rule?
50 Cent used the opportunity to go against Ja Rule to make himself a household name in the rap game. Signing to Interscope Records under Dr. Dre and Eminem meant the endorsements lined up. A strong business mind led to 50 Cent taking advantage of the deals and making himself a $100 million man.
Now, 50 Cent has even more money coming to him, according to an article that hit the internet over the weekend. Originally posted by his own ThisIs50.com, the article detailed 50 Cent signing a deal with Live Nation. The deal, worth $300 million, could rival Jay-Z’s, but the article was deleted.
