The next generation of Brooklyn hip hop, post-Jay-Z, was intended to be Fabolous and he built his own legacy. Fans have waited five years for Fabolous to do another album and he continues to work on this new album. A few years ago, Fabolous promised to release a new album every year.
Truthfully, albums are more of a thing of the past and mixtapes are what’s in. When people think of Fabolous’ last hit single, “You Be Killin ‘Em,” they often forget the song was off one of his mixtapes. Fabolous established himself as a legend with the mixtapes and he has more coming.
Nadeska Alexis, from MTV News, caught up with Fabolous and they discussed his upcoming album. Loso’s Way 2 is the new album and Fabolous has a lot riding on it and some big collaborations. He discussed his new album and his collaborations with both Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj.
