Brooklyn’s own, Fabolous, established himself as one of the hottest figures in rap back in the day. Quite a bit has changed since the late 1990s and Fabolous ended up reaching major heights. The past few years, however, Fabolous has released mixtapes as opposed to albums.
Last year, Fabolous built a lot of momentum with the release of his “Ready” single, featuring Chris Brown. The song became one of the first big hits of the summer of 2013, but the follow-up did not garner much attention. No album came from Fabolous last year.
Fabolous called into Angie Martinez’ show on Power 105.1 and he talked about some of the things he had in the works. Knowing the magic he created with Chris Brown last year, Fabolous decided to re-up with him and he also said he and Nicki Minaj have something in the works. But, Fabolous also tried to help Angie Martinez name her show.
