Just got word via text message that another childhood friend would have the chance to make it big playing professional sports. Several personal, childhood, friends have made it big, like Nick Williams in the NFL Redskins. Now, there is Jose Lopez in the MLB for the Cincinnati Reds.
This story has nothing to do with music or even the hip hop lifestyle, but it’s just something interesting and inspiring to share with the world. Growing up with Jose, he dedicated a lot to baseball. Even when things got hard, he never gave up, and now he has been drafted by a professional baseball team.
For those who don’t know much about baseball, Jose Lopez is a pitcher and he played three years for Seton Hall in New Jersey. Being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds is a big deal for him, as this is one of the most-successful teams in MLB history. They are coming off a second round playoff loss.
