Ten years ago, G-Unit owned the game and it was just the way 50 Cent wanted it, as he pushed his own album back for his crew. This type of selflessness is what 50 Cent blamed on G-Unit’s implosion earlier this year. But, these were the people who 50 Cent came up with and he didn’t let that go forgotten.
50 Cent reunited with the entire G-Unit team at Hot 97’s Summer Jam. The set also included Nas and some controversy that put Slowbucks and Ja Rule in the headlines for most of the month. Outside of all that, 50 Cent is back with G-Unit and they are working on new music.
In the latest part of his interview with Nadeska Alexis at MTV News, 50 Cent discussed this. There is a new mixtape and album 50 Cent wants to do with the G-Unit family. He explained if this is a brief reunion or if he thinks he can really bring the G-Unit clique back to the forefront.
