Back in 2008, Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Crooked I, and Royce Da 5’9 were four of the most-discussed independent rappers in the game. At one point or another, all of them had highly-anticipated albums. Stuck with revolving release dates, they took to mixtapes to put their music out and later joined forces.
Originally a rumor, the four rappers came together as Slaughterhouse and they eventually signed to Shady Records. Since the group released welcome to: OUR House, the members have gone back to their solo career. Joell Ortiz also has some heat coming up.
