RUMOR: Remy Ma will sign to Maybach Music after prison release

Ten years ago, Remy Ma established herself as a superstar when she jumped on the popular “Lean Back” single. Led by Fat Joe, “Lean Back” was the chart-topping single from Terror Squad’s True Story album. Her role on the single coincided with a major label deal.

Remy Ma soon dropped her debut album and had hit singles with “Conceited” and also “Feel So Good” with Ne-Yo. When it looked like Remy Ma would reach new heights, she ended up facing major obstacles. Her once close relationship with Fat Joe dissolved to nothing and she was dropped from Terror Squad.

Label issues would soon be minor, as she was sentenced to prison. Remy Ma ended up going to prison has remained behind bars for seven years. Now, Remy Ma is preparing to come out on July 31 and rumor has it that she will be signing with Rick Ross and his Miami-based Maybach Music.
