Talent is one thing New York City is not short of, despite the comments outsiders have had about the scene, here. Much of the talent is coming from Brooklyn and among those artists is Astro. He emerged when he appeared on FOX’s cancelled series, “The X Factor,” during the 2011-2012 season.
Since then, Astro has continued to put out music and his most-recent release was the street album, Starvin Like Marvin For A LL Cool J Song. Last summer, Astro talked to Hip Hop Vibe about the new project. A little time has passed since then and Astro has continued working.
This morning, Astro visited Hot 97 to speak to the morning show crew. Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez hosted Astro, as he spoke on his upcoming work. The biggest thing on Astro’s agenda is his upcoming movie role, so he was in the building to plug it.
