Chicago is one of the most-interesting cities in hip hop, producing everyone from the likes of Twista to Common to Kanye West. This trend has continued, as the city is responsible for Chance The Rapper, Chief Keef, and Vic Mensa, among more. Back in the 2004-2005 period, Twista made his name known.

Not to get it confused, Twista has been dope and been a presence in the game since the early 1990s. But, he was reintroduced to the game and built an entirely new fan base with Kamikaze and The Day After. These albums produced some of Twista’s most-known hit records.

DJ Moondawg recently invited Twista to his radio show at WGCI and Twista spoke on some of his new work. Of course, Twista has new music for the fans and he has his opinion on his city. Chicago is dominating the game and Twista spoke on this and his take on the new crop of rappers, overall.
