Queens has always had a major impact on the hip hop industry from Russell Simmons to LL Cool J to 50 Cent. Each of these men and even more have helped redefine hip hop and they know how to get to the money. Going from the hardest of the hardcore rappers to being a business mogul, 50 Cent is one of a kind.

Even with his business career taking off the way it did, his album met a standstill over at Interscope Records. Finally, 50 Cent fought his way out and his parting gift from the label was $23 million. Now, 50 Cent has an independent deal through Capitol Records to release Animal Ambition, his fifth studio album.

50 Cent recently traveled to Canada and he talked to the Business News Network about his new moves. He spoke on leaving Interscope Records and being paid $23 million when he exited. During the interview, 50 Cent also discussed the Animal Ambition album.
