During Funkmaster Flex’s last visit to ESPN, he was asked about the worst freestylers he had on his show. Echoing DJ Premier when he spoke on the cyphers for the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards, Funkmaster Flex crowned 2 Chainz. On Twitter, 2 Chainz brushed this off.
Currently, 2 Chainz is working on a new EP called Free Base, which is due in a couple of days. Ever since his emergence in the game, 2 Chainz has found himself booked up for years. Getting money on the road, 2 Chainz made his return to New York City last night and he had choice words about Funkmaster Flex.
Nowhere near as nonchalant as he was on Twitter, 2 Chainz was very direct and very clear on how he feels about Funkmaster Flex. Clearly insulted by what 2 Chainz said about him, he had two words for him. The biggest insult a person can receive is “fuck you,” what 2 Chainz gave to Hot 97’s longtime DJ.
