“Happy” isn’t a new single, but it’s picking up momentum here in the spring months of 2014, just in time for the weather change. This is the perfect anthem for the summer and it has boosted the morale of plenty of people. Pharrell is “Happy,” so are many other people, and his happiness brought a tear to his eye.
Pharrell is a gifted hitmaker and he’s put out some memorable tracks over the years, both as a featured and lead artist. Clearly, Pharrell has taken the lead and he went over to Shade 45 to talk to Sway about it on “Sway In The Morning.” He discussed the “Happy” single coming together, meeting Oprah, and working with Teddy Riley.
