Nas reveals he has a new album in the works to follow up “Life Is Good”

Nas 12In 2012, Nas impressed the world with Life Is Good, his first album in four years. A lot of people credited Nas for delivering the first modern hip hop classic in a while and he and Kendrick Lamar shared the crown that year. When Nas did interviews following the release of the album, he said he was still recording.

Calling his Life is Good run a creative peak, Nas said it was impossible for him to stop recording and an album was due in 2013. All of this talk ceased in early 2013 and Nas all but disappeared from the game. He returned when he took over controlling interest in Mass Appeal magazine with no talk of a new album.

However, Nas hinted at something new coming in 2014 after the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of Illmatic. Record sales over the past week have boosted for Nas debut album and he revealed he has a new album coming. He explained his creative process, as he was working with Timbaland and took a break and is now refocused on doing his next LP.
