Last summer, Freddie Gibbs left CTE after two years with the label. When he initially joined forces with Young Jeezy, Freddie Gibbs had high hopes for their affiliation and got off to a fast start. But, this fast start soon slowed down and fizzled out, leading to him leaving the label and dropping ESGN independently.
Freddie Gibbs was immediately replaced by YG and Doughboyz Cashout, who play the street role for CTE. Natives of Detroit, Doughboyz Cashout represent the new generation of Detroit hip hop. A member of the camp, HBK, ended up getting into a situation last fall.
Recently, a member from Doughboyz Cashout began dissing Freddie Gibbs on Twitter and got an immediate response. Freddie Gibbs began laughing it off and he began referencing HBK’s situation last fall. He went on to brag about how he planned to diss the crew in their own city of Detroit.
