Countless Los Angeles rappers are breaking out and having success, but the Bay Area is also making their movement count on a major label. Leading the new age Bay Area hip hop movement is the HBK Gang. Iamsu! is the leader of this camp and the members include Sage The Gemini, P. Lo, Kool John, and Dmac, among others.
The next artist to drop a project is Kool John, who revealed he had something new in the works this afternoon. Currently, Kool John is getting himself familiar with the masses, following Sage The Gemini to a few of his interviews. Now, Kool John is preparing his own project.
While he has no release date scheduled, Kool John released his $hmopCity project artwork today. This artwork revealed he had a new project in the works and it was posted to his Instagram. He also had the support of the HBK Gang, who posted it on their respective Instagram profiles.
