As Prince closes in on the thirtieth anniversary of Purple Rain, he has some good news to share with his followers. For countless years, Prince has remained at odds with Warner Bros. Records. Actually, Prince famously called Warner Bros. Records the “slave label.”

This animosity ended earlier today and Prince returned to Warner Bros. Records, but the financial terms were not disclosed. However, Prince is back in action and he is doing an extended version of Purple Rain. Along with this will also be Prince’s first album in four years, Plectrum Electrum.

Excited about the new deal, Prince is looking forward to a fruitful working relationship. Warner Bros. Records is equally enthusiastic about the new partnership and are awaiting the first release. There are several unreleased Prince songs that will also be a part of this deal being released.
