Last year, Mack Wilds dropped an amazing album with New York: A Love Story, which spawned the “Own It” single. He also took the time out to speak to Hip Hop Vibe during this period of time. Mack Wilds was a great person to meet and he is a great artist establishing himself.
More than a one hit wonder, Mack Wilds released the “Henny” single and went in for a very New York remix. The “Henny” remix featured Mack Wilds getting in the studio with Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep, and French Montana. This posse cut is reminiscent of those of the 1990s.
This week, Mack Wilds dropped the “Henny” remix music video, which was modeled after Craig Mack’s “Flava In Ya Ear” remix video. Ever since the video dropped, a lot of people have been talking about it. The discussion, alone, is enough to carry it over as Hip Hop Vibe’s Video of the Week.
