One name holding New York down is Vado, who has done his work from Harlem and has for years. It’s going on five years that Vado has ground it out, working with all types of big names. Most associated him with Cam’ron until DJ Khaled signed Vado to the We The Best Music Group label.
Despite working with the Miami-based label, Vado is still very much so New York and he holds the streets down. While We The Best Music Group has placed Vado on the roster of Cash Money Records, alongside Ace Hood, he still has ties to Dipset. This has all helped to accelerate Vado’s career.
Vado did an interview with Hip Hop Vibe on the set of Respect The Jux, but last night he stopped by Hot 97. Angie Martinez had the chance to talk to Vado and he spoke on the nature of his relationship with Cam’ron. The interview also touched on some of the people Vado has his eye on.
