A talent that deserves a lot more attention, for his music, is Saigon, as he has held it down for a long time. Saigon has come a long way since The Greatest Story Never Told went through its series of delays. In 2011, the album finally came and Saigon wasted no time coming back out with a sequel.
When Saigon began working on his third album, he also had the opportunity to return to television. This offer was not another HBO-type deal for a show like “Entourage,” however. Instead, Saigon was offered the chance to give fans a glimpse into his personal life with VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop.”
Earlier this year, “Love & Hip Hop” went back on hiatus and Saigon is now wrapping up his new album. The Greatest Story Never Told 3: The Troubled Times of Brian Carenard is the title of Saigon’s latest release. This album will be released on Saigon’s own Squid Inc. label and the first single, “Sinner’s Prayer” featuring Papoose, is due on April 21.
