Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required. This is a often recited line from the Bible and it’s true in all walks of life. After a person fights all types of ups-and-downs to reach their goals, they have everyone coming at them for various reasons, all stemming back to their success.

At this point, YG knows a thing or two about this, as he has made himself the clear-cut biggest rapper out of Los Angeles. Several Los Angeles-area rappers have dropped albums this year, but none of them were as big as his. There is a lot riding on the young YG and his new music.

Elliott Wilson went out to Los Angeles to talk to YG for “The Truth” on Life + Times and the two had an interesting conversation. There is no one formula for success, so people do various things in order to gain traction and YG ended up working with DJ Mustard to get his. In the interview with Elliott Wilson, YG spoke on the My Krazy Life album, DJ Mustard, Los Angeles hip hop, and more.
