T.I. will produce Oxygen’s “Sisterhood of Hip Hop” reality series

T.I. 7The past couple of years have seen Oxygen transform from being a network primarily geared towards women to very hip hop centric. Outside of airings of the movie series, Friday, with Ice Cube, Ray J is the host of “Bad Girl’s Club.” Now, the network is moving in an even bigger hip hop direction.

VH1 has the hip hop reality television show market on lock with “Love & Hip Hop” and “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” However, there are some who have spoken out against the show because of how the stars are portrayed. Now, there is an alternative in the works with “Sisterhood of Hip Hop” that T.I. is producing.

Some rising female rappers, Siya, Nyemiah Supreme, Diamond, Brianna Perry and Bia are the stars of the show. This series will show the ladies as they navigate their careers, trying to make it in the rap game. Ironically, Diamond previously appeared in early episodes of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” on VH1.
