The Bay Area re-took the rap game over the past couple of years and Iamsu! is a major reason for this shift. Representing Oakland, Iamsu!’s HBK Gang has slowly taken the game over. Sage The Gemini recently dropped his Remember Me album, taking over the mainstream.
Iamsu! remains the hottest artist in the game from the Oakland area, but his presence has been primarily viral. However, Iamsu! is now preparing his position in the game with his debut album. Earlier this year, Iamsu! revealed the title of his album would be Sincerely Yours.
This afternoon, Iamsu! took to his Twitter to reveal he was finally ready to release his album. Iamsu! announced the release date for Sincerely Yours, which is currently set for May 13. The artwork for the album was also released on Iamsu!’s Twitter and can be viewed by the public below, while they await the album.
