Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy of “The Breakfast Club” talk moving to Revolt TV, Hot 97, and interviews with Bossip [VIDEO]

The Breakfast Club BossipNew York City’s urban media scene is very political and there is an intense rivalry that has Power 105.1 on one side and Hot 97 on the other side. Both radio stations have made power moves in recent months. Hot 97 is on VH1 with their new series, “This Is Hot 97,” while Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” is on Revolt.

Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy have had a growing presence on the overall hip hop scene, but their move to Revolt solidified things. The trio are now on the hottest new hip hop television outlet. This move has a lot of people talking and people well outside of New York City tuning into their show.

Bossip.com recently invited Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy over to do an interview. In their interview, the trio talked about “The Breakfast Club” being on Revolt TV, but also ended up talking about Hot 97’s venture into television. Charlamagne Tha God called them “radio wives,” a play on “Sister Wives” and also talked about the Kanye West interview and Chief Keef being their worst interview.
